The original VTech KidiZoom Action Cam is a toy camera for children who want to try taking photos, videos and creative effects. It is worth considering when simple controls and supervised play matter more than detailed video. Check the exact version before purchase: this article covers the original Action Cam in the 2015 manual, not Action Cam HD or a projected 2025 release.
What the original model includes

This makes the original model a different choice from later HD versions. Do not import another version's resolution, battery or accessory specifications into a listing for this one.
Why choose a dedicated children's camera?
